The information collected will be used to respond according to the reason of reaching out to us.
The option to cancel a shipping order is available at any time. As long as we get notified two weeks prior to original date reserved the broker fee used to reserve will be refunded in full. If cancelling within day(s) of reservation made, refunds will be assessed according to the facts of the particular situation.
If Customer decides to cancel the shipping order after a transporter has been assigned and/or ocean booking made, the broker fee may not be refunded in full as some services have been rendered. The cancellation will be assessed on a case by case basis, with the option to hold the booking for a full year or transfer credits to another entity.
If Customer decides to reserve with another broker/company while in contract with Coastal Auto Shipping, with no opportunity to fulfill the contract or there was no notice of cancellation. The broker fee will not be refunded.
If Customer decides to cancel the shipping order after a transporter has been assigned, $150.00 will be assessed as our services have been rendered when a transporter is assigned.
Auto rentals due to unforeseen delays, damage, accidents, acts of God will not be honored.
Refunds will be processed within 4-6 days from the cancellation request. Cancellation of an order must be submitted in writing via email sent to [email protected] Coastal Auto Shipping LLC, does not accept or honor cancellations made via phone call.
Order(s) booked as “Port to Port”:
Reservations made as a Port to Port service can be cancelled within a 2 week notice of date reserved for drop off. If cancelling within day(s) of reservation made, refunds will be assessed according to the facts of the particular situation. With the option to hold the booking for a full year or transfer credits to another entity.
